Woo Biz Podcast Episode 2: Andrew Bray on Intuition

Andy Walker: Learn how to jump start powerful intuition that can feel like a business superpower. With our guest, intuitive coach and energy practitioner Andrew Bray.

This is Woo Biz.

Andy Walker: Hello and welcome to another edition of Woo Biz. I’m your host, Andy Walker and this is the show where we help entrepreneurs, business leaders and innovators explore and train what I call their extrasensory abilities to drive wealth, success and harmony in their enterprises, in their projects and in their everyday lives. We go beyond productivity hacks and strategy talk. Here we dig into the intuitive, the energetic, the unseen drivers of real world results. Because when you learn to align with your deeper knowing, your work and your life start to change in powerful ways.

My guest today is Andrew Bray, an intuitive coach and energy practitioner based in Hamilton, Ontario, just west of Toronto, Canada. He’s the founder of Energy Awaken, a hands on energetic method that helps people release limiting beliefs, reconnect with their intuitive senses and and activate more clarity and capacity in their lives and businesses. And he’s recently become my metaphysical coach. We met a few weeks back and is one of my new friends in this awesome Woo community. Andrew’s got a background in teaching workshops across North America. He offers custom meditations. I’ve been using them on his website. We’ll talk about that later. And he works with clients globally over zoom. And when I trained with him, I walked out of his space feeling like a tuned fork. The energy he brings is no joke. You’ll hear it in this conversation. Let’s get into it.

Andy Walker: Hello, Andrew, how you doing?

Andrew Bray: Well, hi Andy. Great to be here.

Andy Walker: It’s nice to see your face. You know, you recently came back from Cuba so you have a nice tan. We’re not using video on this episode, I don’t think. And if we do, then you will see your nice tan. But you look very relaxed and I know we’ve tried this a couple of times to get recorded, so this time I’m kind of excited to get it all done and get it out. So thanks for your patience, I really appreciate that. Let’s get into this.

Andrew Bray: It’s a pleasure to speak with you each time.

Andy Walker: That’s right. You get a three for. We tried it three times. Really funny. So Andrew and I connected after, you know, I walked into his metaphysical studio in Hamilton and he’s already exposed me to some amazing Woo events for me. You know, I’ve seen a few things and learned a few things along the way. But you, Andrew, you’ve sort of had this ability to connect with. I don’t know if it’s the divine or the energetic nature of the world. Since you were very little, right. Tell me a little bit about how you came to that.

Andrew Bray: I think I was born with something, whatever that is. But I think many, many of us are born with something, and I think technically we’re all born with that something. It’s just how well we tune into it, how well we allow it. And when I was a little kid, I saw spirit a little bit. It was very interesting. And then I was quickly convinced it wasn’t real, that. That it was just my imagination and this stuff isn’t real. And so you join the collective consciousness and you kind of think like everybody else does, and perhaps it’s not real anymore. And it’s not until we have certain things happen where we allow it to. To be real again.

Andy Walker: So energy is all around us, the energetic world, the spiritual world, if you want to call it that. So is that something that you specifically, you said you were born with something, so obviously perhaps you had some natural ability. But is this something that is trained, can be trained?

Andrew Bray: Of course, when we hold a strong intention, when we allow our awareness to expand, when we get ourselves out of the way, living becomes a different experience entirely.

Andy Walker: And so how, how can we sort of bring in these kinds of talents? And which talents specifically should we. Can we bring into, say, a. A business situation? Obviously, with woo biz, we’re talking to business leaders, entrepreneurs, that sort of thing. If you train yourself in these woo skills that you talk about the energetic ability to connect with the universe, I’m guessing, if we, to put it in a really short phrase, what’s the advantage?

Andrew Bray: Having a more open intuition just gives us more information. So somebody that took a course paid me a nice compliment. They said you kind of walk in at the beginning of the day and you don’t realize it, but life is in black and white. And then at the end of the day, you walk out and then you see that everything’s in color and it’s just a richer experience with more information. So for somebody who’s an entrepreneur, somebody who’s on a mission, whether or not that’s a. Well, I was going to say whether or not that’s a spiritual mission, but I think every mission ultimately is a spiritual mission. But anybody on a mission who opens their intuition gets more information, gets more data to begin with. So you’re not looking at this kind of scope, you’re looking at this kind of scope. And it helps in decision making, it helps in directing energies, it helps in making choices between this path and that path because you have more information. And sometimes that information is not exactly tangible. Talking about gut instinct, higher intuition. Because I like to differentiate between our intuition which, because we are part of nature, we are, we are animals, we are the hairless apes. And as part of nature we are one with nature. And when we listen to that inner voice, we have those gut intuitions. And I think everybody recognizes that to a certain extent. But what we’re talking about here in developing our intuition is the higher intuition is the third eye stuff. And that’s where the Claire’s come in, where we start getting messages, where we start knowing things that really there’s no way of explaining how we know them.

Andy Walker: Yeah, it really is extra sensory, you know, at least outside the five senses per se. And I, you know, for sure, even in my own journey I’ve seen like an improvement in, I would call it downloads, I guess, getting messages or information or ideas. I mean, it’s a, create a creative expansion for sure. But it’s also, I’m getting weird little dribbles of. I don’t know, sometimes I don’t even know what it is. It’s just information and I’m not sure exactly how to codify it.

Andrew Bray: Right. And it’s an interesting process as we learn and raise our vibration. Because typically most the universe is talking to you all the time. There’s a constant stream of information of everything you could need to know available. And then we get better at accessing it. So for most people it’ll start with dreams. It’s like I had a dream and touched in with this spirit or so, and so came to me or I had this dream and I saw that this was going to happen and lo and behold, it happened. And it’s because when we’re in a dream state that we get ourselves out of the way. And then with practices we routinely get ourselves out of the way, we, we start meditating, we start practices that kind of calms our mind and gets the monkey mind out of the way. And, and then we have access to more and more. And then perhaps throughout the day we can get to a high vibrational state, get some information and get our downloads even scheduled. You know, you can schedule your meditation during your workday to open up, release and then get some information. And as that gets better and easier, it kind of happens all the time in that you can be running about your busy day and still be partially in a very high vibrational state with access.

Andy Walker: I see, so when it’s a high, high vibrational state, what does that mean for that, for those of the folks out there that maybe go, oh, what’s that?

Andrew Bray: Right? It is kind of hippie language, isn’t it? A couple different perspectives. You can correlate it to an emotional state. So if you are going to label how you are feeling in any given moment, if you are feeling open, kind connected, altruistic and on a mission that you feel is greater than you are, you are likely in a very high vibrational state. And you can correlate those emotional states with this beingness. And from a different perspective, you have more access to yourself in a higher nature. So we’re multi dimensional beings and that we have these very dense bodies that weigh us down and then the next higher vibrational level of us, you could say is our emotional body. And that can go from this, this high place of ecstasy to feeling really low and having a low vibrational mood, which would be frustration or shame or something like that. And then a higher aspect of ourselves is our mind, body. And higher than that is the energy, pure energy and this kind of spirit stuff where eventually we get to our soul.

Andy Walker: I see.

Andrew Bray: And so we exist on all these different levels.

Andy Walker: Right. So I mean, you can, you know, it’s in the language, right. The high state is a happy, high, you know, sort of positive state. And when we talk about feeling low, definitely, right. Sad, depressed, right. Feeling guilty, all the negative things, so the negative emotions will be on the bottom. And so keeping ourselves in a positive happy state where we feel expansive, that’s the beginnings. Like you want to stay in that state. Most of the time you’re on, on the path already, right?

Andrew Bray: For sure. As long as you’re not full of **** in that. It’s, it’s such an authentic thing. It is, it’s not some, it’s not a face you put on, it is what you truly are. It’s not a presentation, it’s not just a personality thing. It’s like right to the essence of your cells. You are in this high vibrational, shining state.

Andy Walker: So it’d be fair to say that it would be hard to get messages from the universe if you’re angry.

Andrew Bray: Yes. And this is a whole fantastic conversation. So fear lies. So if we listen to what we think could be intuition and it’s low vibrational, you can’t trust it. You can’t trust the messages that don’t feel good.

Andy Walker: Yeah, that makes a ton of sense.

Andrew Bray: When we’re in a place of elevation, it’s just we’re in this flow, we’re in this truth. The cliché is, is that there’s a battle between light and dark within all of us. And the dark is all that fear stuff. And the fear stuff lies trying to keep you safe. It’s generally some bad programming in your subconscious mind. It’s kind of telling you, no, don’t do that brave thing that could put you out there and be seen. It’s just much safer to stay small and let’s stay inside.

Andy Walker: Right?

Andrew Bray: And that prevents us from, from living our best life ever.

Andy Walker: Yeah, I totally get it. You know, as an entrepreneur, when you wake up in the morning, right, you want to step into a positive day, feeling good, because you’ve got to activate all of those things that really, you know, challenge you as a human. And operating from fear and scarcity and that sort of thing is not going to get you anywhere as a business person. Right? So that high vibrational state is really, really important.

Andy Walker: Okay, so then, so then take us through. So maybe somebody who has never really heard this conversation before and goes, well, I buy into that. I want to get into a high vibrational state. I want to stay there. What’s your advice to the rank beginner who may be just finding this work now?

Andrew Bray: Start today. And it’s a journey of a thousand steps in that it’s baby steps. And you want to be compassionate and kind to yourself and know that it’s a practice and just starting really should be celebrated. It’s not about getting fantastic end results right away. It’s that you’re worth it, that fostering your light, fostering whatever it is that’s in here is so worth it. And you just start with taking a couple minutes a day to become present.

Andy Walker: So what does that look like?

Andrew Bray: It’s quiet. It’s quiet. And taking a few moments for yourself, I would encourage anyone to make it a true practice and that you make it special. And you make it special, however, resonates with you in that you want to get a special spot. Could be a corner of your office or room or living room, it doesn’t matter. And go, okay, this is going to be my spot and I’m going to make this sacred space. And then you have a chair there, or you have a cushion that you sit on there and then have anything that you like that brings joy or brings a little bit of high vibration. It can be a memento from the past, it can be a candle, it can be some kind of new age crystal, it really doesn’t matter. But just something to make it a little ceremony, a little ritual for you to go this is my special place, this is my special time. And I am going to foster and create a little bit of positive energy here. And it’s a practice. And this little two minutes that we start with, just to be quiet, close our eyes and breathe, that. That can be the start of something very, very powerful. Because what you’re doing is allowing something inside of you to come out and be born. There’s a light within all of us that wants to be born, that wants to shine, that wants to be manifest in this world, and all we got to do is let it out.

Andy Walker: Very interesting. Yeah. You know, since I started to meditate and to sort of try to make it a daily practice for myself, I mean, I’m up there, to me, 10 or 15 minutes at the time, but you’re right. Like a couple 2 minutes, 2 or 3 minutes, 5 minutes, sitting quietly on the couch is the beginnings. And it’s. I would say it’s difficult at the beginning because your brain races and what am I supposed to be feeling? What’s going on in my head? Hey, I want some cornflakes later. You know, like all of that stuff, you just need to quiet that down.

Andrew Bray: Yeah, for sure. And know that you can’t that. Know that. If you look at the brainwave patterns, we always have a dominant pattern, but they’re always all active to a greater or lesser extent. And when we’re in high beta, that busy mind state, that part of us never shuts down. And so the trick is to just stop paying attention to it. Yada, yada, yada, yada, yada, yada. That’s okay. Just let it go. Yada, yada. And we’re just going to breathe and we’re going to feel our breath and that part of the mind just going, yada, yada, yada. And that’s okay. You just let it go. It’s. It’s. It’s like a. It’s like a kid in the backseat going, yammer, yammer, yammer, yammer. You just let it yammer and you just continue to watch the road and enjoy the radio. And that’s okay. You just tune it all out and we get better at it. It sounds impossible to begin with, but you get better at it.

Andy Walker: Yeah, I totally get that. I mean, really, my experience, you know, I mean, I’ve always tried to meditate, but never really understood the functionality of it or getting to a better place until. And you talk about this as a journey of a thousand steps. Reliability, I think, and discipline of just doing it every day. Even if you don’t even believe it, or even if you’re not sure about it, or even if you don’t think you’re getting any results. After a while, it starts to become something. It start. You start to get into a groove, as it were, for sure.

Andrew Bray: Definitely. Definitely. And it’s amazing to see once the ball starts rolling, how programmable we are in that you can start saying I enjoy this. And if you start saying I enjoy this, you. You will start to enjoy it. Because we are so programmable, there’s. It’s. You can almost look at our minds. You can allow it to be software and you can take out lines of code and put in new lines of code. And you want to be wise and choose new lines of code that work for you. And that what makes your life better, what makes me happier, what new code would be better? And you could insert that new code.

Andy Walker: In, or I suppose you’re renovating how your brain works perhaps, and reconditioning it perhaps into a new state. And then the byproduct of that is being able to tune in to the universe or tune into to intuition and messaging in an easier state. It just comes more naturally after that. Is that right?

Andrew Bray: Would you say for sure it’s a practice. It becomes easier. You get to know how you work better and. And it all just builds upon itself.

Andy Walker: So where am I going to see results? Or is it just going to sort of creep up on me? Tell me what the experience is after, say, a practice of a few weeks or. I don’t know. I don’t know how long it would take.

Andrew Bray: I think if you’re going to start, if you, if you are dedicated enough to go, okay, I’m going to, I’m going to put a little bit of time into this every day. You will see some results within a few weeks. And how you notice it can be different for everyone. I heard a story recent. This is a. This is another meditation teacher that told this story about working with someone who started their meditation practice and then was out to dinner with their partner. Argument came up and they argued at the table for several minutes and then they’d both agreed they’re just gonna have to disagree. And the one, the other partner says to the first partner that’s got the practice now says, wow, that meditation stuff is really working. She said, well, what are you talking about? We couldn’t agree. And he said, yeah, but a month ago you would have stormed out of this restaurant.

Andy Walker: Oh, wow. Yeah.

Andrew Bray: And so we become more patient, we become more kind, we become more Connected.

Andy Walker: And.

Andrew Bray: That’S also about intention. What do we want to do with more connection? What do we want to do with. With more wisdom, right. If we’re on a mission, like an entrepreneur typically is, we get to connect with potential clients more. We get to understand where they’re coming from more. We get to make ourselves understood more. We get to be more discerning with who we want to spend our time talking to. It all just, everything just becomes more efficient, more present. And you may even find like, yep, that whole mission I’ve been spending all this time on, that doesn’t resonate anymore. Now what I really got to do is this. And you may upgrade your mission. You may upgrade your whole business with more connection.

Andy Walker: One of the things that I’ve noticed about my practice has been that I have a very low tolerance for things I don’t want to do anymore. Right. I, I just, I just go, why?

Andrew Bray: Absolutely.

Andy Walker: Why am I doing that? I don’t like it. You know, like even I do a fair amount of freelance work in the marketing and writing world, and if I’ve got a client that I really don’t resonate with, I just, I become less tolerant of doing it anyway, you know. But as a consequence, then I’m shifting all of my activities to things that I like. And then as a consequence, they all accelerate, which is kind of fascinating. So we are byproduct, really, does that relate?

Andrew Bray: Totally. Because what you’re doing is using your intuition. So if you’ve got 10 potential clients, instead of spending an hour with each one, you’re just going to know after a minute going, bing, this is the one. This is, this is top of the list. This is where I want to spend the most time and energy. Because I just know I’m feeling it here. I’m feeling, I’m feeling it here. And I just know.

Andy Walker: So would you say that this, that you would then also attract the right kind of people into your business and into your life?

Andrew Bray: Yes, for sure. So talking about energy, talking about consciousness, we are all one, we are all connected. And attracting is sending out a signal. We are on an etheric level, sending out a signal all the time. And when we’re high vibrational, when we’re in that state of openness, we are sending out a much stronger signal.

Andy Walker: Yeah, no, I think we’re all antennas, for sure. I mean, if you talk about energy as a specific distinction, and if you want to vibrate at a high level of energy, let’s say, and you know, it’s hard to, you know, we think of energy as gas and propane and things like that. But I’m talking about that internal drive, that internal like lit up, you know, that kind of energy, boy, oh boy, does it make a difference. But I, I also see that, you know, if you spend too much time in that low vibrational thing, you attract all kinds of negative things too. So like I’ve run into all kinds of things in the last year or so where I’m like, why is that happening? That’s bad, bad, bad. And then I recognized only recently that I look back and go, I just been operating at a low vibration. So it is either I’m not attracting the right things or I’m attracting negative. Can you attract negative things too?

Andrew Bray: Definitely. So we attract what we are. So going to that internal state and whatever vibration you’re at, you attract. Wherever you’re at, whatever you are is what you get more of. And something to note with a high vibrational state is that high vibrational energy is more efficient. And my favorite example here is a speaker. If you look at a big speaker, you got that tweeter with that high vibrational sound. It’s just this tiny speaker. And if you look at the wire connected to a tweeter, it is so fine, it requires so little energy to drive those high vibrational sounds. And if you look at the woofer, the big speaker at the bottom, it’s got a huge magnet on it and, and it requires a higher gauge wire to, to drive all that energy. Low vibration requires more energy, but there are many people that are very dedicated to it. So we get addicted to the state we’re in. So we kind of want to open up our, our drive, our free will, our kind of, our compass, our internal compass to go, where do I really want to be at? And going to that more efficient high vibrational space.

Andy Walker: Yeah, yeah, I totally get that. But it requires intention, right? It’s not something that’s going to come now. Well, I suppose for some people it comes naturally. I was talking to Naveen Jain. He’s a billionaire operator out of Seattle. My wife’s been working with him on a couple of books. She’s been a ghostwriter. And he says he was described by one practitioner as somebody who has a happy brain. Right. He’s constantly in a positive state. And I would imagine if you’re going to turn out amazing things like he is, he’s got a company called Viome. Right. It’s like trying to cure, you know, chronic disease. You kind of have to be happy a lot of the time, because you’re up against it, you know,

Andrew Bray: Definitely. But you get to a place where your vibration is so high, you just love existence itself. You’re kind of, you’re, you’re, you’re existing on a plane of appreciation. You are seeing beauty in just about all things. You are seeing beauty in just about all people. And a phrase I really like is that there are those who float through life effortlessly and that’s just existing on a high vibrational plane. You have a belief system that works for you. You know, there are just some people that think everything always works out for me, and lo and behold, it does, because they have that absolute belief that everything always works out for me. So they are emanating an energy of confidence and grace, and lo and behold, the road just unfolds gracefully in front of them because of that belief.

Andy Walker: Well, that explains a lot. That really does. You know, you run into people like that and people, you know, why is that person the constant? Like, we have one thing after another, and you’re like, this person has strings of good luck. They seem to attract the right people. They’re really cool to hang around, but that’s, that’s. They’re just operating at a high vibrational rate all the time and something we want to emulate.

Andrew Bray: Right.

Andy Walker: As a practice. Right. For sure.

Andrew Bray: Yeah. I think, I don’t know if I’ve ever thought of this before, but my most powerful practice might be my habit of saying to myself, I love my life. I love my life.

Andy Walker: Wow.

Andrew Bray: And even though, you know, by, by many, let’s be honest, by most people’s standards, I have a very simple, modest life. But I have this beautiful studio that I love, love being here, love working here. I live upstairs and people are like, wow. You just come down the stairs and see your clients and then go back upstairs and have lunch. And I’m like, I love my life. And I’ll take every little excuse I get to say, I love my life. And you know what? I mean it. I do love my life. Do I take grandiose, spectacular vacations? No. But, you know, as you and I have talked quite a bit, I just have a love for Havana and I love going there and I love the people and the culture and the music, and it’s just a fantastic place to be. It’s got its challenges, for sure, but I love it and I love my life. And the more we program ourselves, we slip in those lines of software, the slip in the new lines of code, it just changes everything.

Andy Walker: Amazing. Amazing. Yeah. So simple practice. There’s, there’s a takeaway right there. Like you’re having a bad day and you switch into. And you have to, I suppose you genuinely need to believe it. But like, you know, my life’s not so bad. It’s actually pretty good. And I love this, this and this about my life. You know what I mean? Like you can cherry pick it and really steer yourself back into a positive place. No,

Andrew Bray: For sure, for sure.

Andy Walker: And this is one of those instances where you can fake it till you make it in that your subconscious mind that you’re working with when you’re programming it is not very smart and takes everything literally. So when you say I love my life, even if you’re saying it sarcastically because you stubbed your toe, your subconscious mind is still taking that programming. And, and it’s even more powerful when there is a reinforcement. So even if it’s a negative reinforcement, like you just stubbed your toe and you say I love my life. That’s really being anchored in there.

Andrew Bray: That really is. Ow, ow, ow. I love my life. Ow.

Andy Walker: You could, you could really do the opposite, right? And really ruin your day.

Andrew Bray: Right? And I think our culture teaches us to do the opposite. We are taught to have a negative self talk. We are taught to think negatively. There is a natural negative bias that we need to be aware of if we’re going to be successful. That’s just actually quick 60 second thing. We have a natural negative bias. It is a evolutionary thing in that if I have a meditation, there are 20 people there and 19 come up to me afterwards and say, hey, that was great. Really enjoyed that. I feel great. Thank you very much. And then one person says, you know what? This was a waste of my time. This is silly and I don’t like you and you dress funny. What am I thinking about? I will get snagged on that 1 in 20. And that makes absolutely no sense. If you are getting 19 out of 20 positive feedback reviews, you are on the right track. You were doing the right thing. But we get caught up in that 1 in 20 that gives us the negative feedback. And we have to be aware that we have a negative bias and we want to get over it. So it’s just an important thing to be aware of when we’re keeping our vibration high, when we are on a practice, want a path to be on a practice. We just have to have as much awareness as we can and we have a negative bias. We want to kind of disassemble that.

Andy Walker: So then all there is to do then is to one, stay positive. Two, take a moment every day, a couple of minutes, five minutes, 10 minutes if you can, longer if you can meditate that long and then almost do an audit on yourself to check in and make sure that you are operating from a positive space as opposed to operating from fear or guilt or negativity in some manner.

Andrew Bray: Yeah, absolutely. That third step you just listed, the audit. And I just like to say awareness. We, the key to almost all of this stuff is awareness. And when we have the awareness, we choose. Well, we choose consciously. We’re using all the information we have access to. Awareness is key to empowerment and everything.

Andy Walker: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Well, I think as soon as you tune into where am I at? It’s hard to stay in a bad place. It’s almost like you’re stepping out of. If you’re angry, it’s easy to be angry, but if you notice that you’re angry, suddenly you get less angry. It’s sort of an interesting, you know, small thing, but it, but it really works, doesn’t it?

Andrew Bray: Absolutely.

Andy Walker: Yeah. Very good.

Andrew Bray: All right. Because you’ve taken the switch off autopilot.

And if we do, then you will see your nice tan.But you look very relaxed and I know we’ve tried this a couple of times to get recorded, so this time I’m kind of excited to get it all done and get it out.So thanks for your patience, I really appreciate that. Let’s get into this.Andrew Bray: It’s a pleasure to speak with you each time.Andy Walker: That’s right. You get a three for. We tried it three times. Really funny. So Andrew and I connected after, you know, I walked into his metaphysical studio in Hamilton and he’s already exposed me to some amazing Woo events for me.You know, I’ve seen a few things and learned a few things along the way. But you, Andrew, you’ve sort of had this ability to connect with. I don’t know if it’s the divine or the energetic nature of the world.Since you were very little, right. Tell me a little bit about how you came to that.Andrew Bray: I think I was born with something, whatever that is. But I think many, many of us are born with something, and I think technically we’re all born with that something. It’s just how well we tune into it, how well we allow it.And when I was a little kid, I saw spirit a little bit.It was very interesting. And then I was quickly convinced it wasn’t real, that. That it was just my imagination and this stuff isn’t real. And so you join the collective consciousness and you kind of think like everybody else does, and perhaps it’s not real anymore. And it’s not until we have certain things happen where we allow it to. To be real again.Andy Walker: So energy is all around us, the energetic world, the spiritual world, if you want to call it that.So is that something that you specifically, you said you were born with something, so obviously perhaps you had some natural ability. But is this something that is trained, can be trained?Andrew Bray: Of course, when we hold a strong intention, when we allow our awareness to expand, when we get ourselves out of the way, living becomes a different experience entirely.Andy Walker: And so how, how can we sort of bring in these kinds of talents? And which talents specifically should we. Can we bring into, say, a. A business situation? Obviously, with woo biz, we’re talking to business leaders, entrepreneurs, that sort of thing. If you train yourself in these woo skills that you talk about the energetic ability to connect with the universe, I’m guessing,if we, to put it in a really short phrase, what’s the advantage?Andrew Bray: Having a more open intuition just gives us more information. But anybody on a mission who opens their intuition gets more information, gets more data to begin with.So you’re not looking at this kind of scope, you’re looking at this kind of scope. And it helps in decision making, it helps in directing energies, it helps in making choices between this path and that path because you have more information. And sometimes that information is not exactly tangible.Talking about gut instinct, higher intuition.Because I like to differentiate between our intuition which, because we are part of nature,we are, we are animals,we are the hairless apes. And as part of nature we are one with nature. And when we listen to that inner voice, we have those gut intuitions. And I think everybody recognizes that to a certain extent. But what we’re talking about here in developing our intuition is the higher intuition is the third eye stuff. And that’s where the Claire’s come in, where we start getting messages, where we start knowing things that really there’s no way of explaining how we know them.Andy Walker: Yeah, it really is extra sensory, you know, at least outside the five senses per se. And I, you know, for sure, even in my own journey I’ve seen like an improvement in,I would call it downloads, I guess, getting messages or information or ideas. I mean, it’s a, create a creative expansion for sure. But it’s also, I’m getting weird little dribbles of.I don’t know, sometimes I don’t even know what it is. It’s just information and I’m not sure exactly how to codify it.Andrew Bray: Right. And it’s an interesting process as we learn and raise our vibration. Because typically most the universe is talking to you all the time. There’s a constant stream of information of everything you could need to know available. And then we get better at accessing it. So for most people it’ll start with dreams. It’s like I had a dream and touched in with this spirit or so, and so came to me or I had this dream and I saw that this was going to happen and lo and behold,it happened. And it’s because when we’re in a dream state that we get ourselves out of the way.And then with practices we routinely get ourselves out of the way, we, we start meditating, we start practices that kind of calms our mind and gets the monkey mind out of the way. And, and then we have access to more and more. And then perhaps throughout the day we can get to a high vibrational state, get some information and get our downloads even scheduled. You know, you can schedule your meditation during your workday to open up, release and then get some information. And as that gets better and easier,it kind of happens all the time in that you can be running about your busy day and still be partially in a very high vibrational state with access.Andy Walker: I see, so when it’s a high, high vibrational state, what does that Mean for that, for those of the folks out there that maybe go, oh, what’s that?Andrew Bray: Right? It is kind of hippie language, isn’t it?A couple different perspectives. You can correlate it to an emotional state. So if you are going to label how you are feeling in any given moment,if you are feeling open, kind connected, altruistic and on a mission that you feel is greater than you are,you are likely in a very high vibrational state. And higher than that is the energy, pure energy and this kind of spirit stuff where eventually we get to our soul.Andy Walker: I see.Andrew Bray: And so we exist on all these different levels.Andy Walker: Right. So I mean, you can, you know, it’s in the language, right. The high state is a happy, high, you know, sort of positive state. And when we talk about feeling low, definitely, right. Sad,depressed, right.Feeling guilty, all the negative things, so the negative emotions will be on the bottom. And so keeping ourselves in a positive happy state where we feel expansive, that’s the beginnings. Like you want to stay in that state. Most of the time you’re on, on the path already, right?Andrew Bray: For sure.As long as you’re not full of **** in that. It’s, it’s such an authentic thing. It is, it’s not some, it’s not a face you put on,it is what you truly are. It’s not a presentation,it’s not just a personality thing. It’s like right to the essence of your cells. You are in this high vibrational, shining state.Andy Walker: So it’d be fair to say that it would be hard to get messages from the universe if you’re angry.Andrew Bray: Yes. And this is a whole fantastic conversation. So fear lies.So if we listen to what we think could be intuition and it’s low vibrational, you can’t trust it.You can’t trust the messages that don’t feel good.Andy Walker: Yeah, that makes a ton of sense.Andrew Bray: When we’re in a place of elevation,it’s just we’re in this flow, we’re in this truth. The Cliche is, is that there’s a battle between light and dark within all of us.And the dark is all that fear stuff. And the fear stuff lies trying to keep you safe. It’s generally some bad programming in your subconscious mind. It’s kind of telling you, no, don’t do that brave thing that could put you out there and be seen. It’s just much safer to stay small and let’s stay inside.Andy Walker: Right?Andrew Bray: And that prevents us from, from living our best life ever.Andy Walker: Yeah, I totally get it.You know, as an entrepreneur, when you wake up in the morning, right, you want to step into a positive day, feeling good, because you’ve got to activate all of those things that really, you know, challenge you as a human. And operating from fear and scarcity and that sort of thing is not going to get you anywhere as a business person.Right? So that high vibrational state is really, really important.Okay, so then, so then take us through. So maybe somebody who has never really heard this conversation before and goes, well,I buy into that. I want to get into a high vibrational state. I want to stay there. What’s your advice to the rank beginner who may be just finding this work now?Andrew Bray: Start today. And it’s a journey of a thousand steps in that it’s baby steps. And you want to be compassionate and kind to yourself and know that it’s a practice and just starting really should be celebrated. It’s not about getting fantastic end results right away. It’s that you’re worth it,that fostering your light, fostering whatever it is that’s in here is so worth it. And you just start with taking a couple minutes a day to become present.Andy Walker: So what does that look like?Andrew Bray: It’s quiet. It’s quiet. And taking a few moments for yourself,I would encourage anyone to make it a true practice and that you make it special. That can be the start of something very, very powerful.Because what you’re doing is allowing something inside of you to come out and be born. There’s a light within all of us that wants to be born, that wants to shine, that wants to be manifest in this world, and all we got to do is let it out.Andy Walker: Very interesting. Yeah. You know, since I started to meditate and to sort of try to make it a daily practice for myself, I mean, I’m up there, to me, 10 or 15 minutes at the time, but you’re right.Like a couple 2 minutes, 2 or 3 minutes, 5 minutes, sitting quietly on the couch is the beginnings. And it’s.I would say it’s difficult at the beginning because your brain races and what am I supposed to be feeling? What’s going on in my head? Hey, I want some cornflakes later. You know, like all of that stuff, you just need to quiet that down.Andrew Bray: Yeah, for sure. And know that you can’t that. Know that. If you look at the brainwave patterns,we always have a dominant pattern, but they’re always all active to a greater or lesser extent. And when we’re in high beta, that busy mind state, that part of us never shuts down. And so the trick is to just stop paying attention to it.Yada, yada, yada, yada, yada, yada. It sounds impossible to begin with, but you get better at it.Andy Walker: Yeah,I totally get that. I mean, really, my experience, you know, I mean, I’ve always tried to meditate, but never really understood the functionality of it or getting to a better place until. And you talk about this as a journey of a thousand steps.Reliability, I think, and discipline of just doing it every day. Even if you don’t even believe it, or even if you’re not sure about it, or even if you don’t think you’re getting any results. After a while, it starts to become something. It start. You start to get into a groove, as it were, for sure.Andrew Bray: Definitely. And you want to be wise and choose new lines of code that work for you.And that what makes your life better, what makes me happier, what new code would be better? And you could insert that new code.Andy Walker: In,or I suppose you’re renovating how your brain works perhaps, and reconditioning it perhaps into a new state. And then the byproduct of that is being able to tune in to the universe or tune into to intuition and messaging in an easier state. It just comes more naturally after that. Is that right?Andrew Bray: Would you say for sure it’s a practice. It becomes easier. You get to know how you work better and. And it all just builds upon itself.Andy Walker: So where am I going to see results?Or is it just going to sort of creep up on me? Tell me what the experience is after, say, a practice of a few weeks or.I don’t know. I don’t know how long it would take.Andrew Bray: I think if you’re going to start, if you, if you are dedicated enough to go, okay, I’m going to, I’m going to put a little bit of time into this every day.You will see some results within a few weeks. And how you notice it can be different for everyone. I heard a story recent. This is a. This is another meditation teacher that told this story about working with someone who started their meditation practice and then was out to dinner with their partner.Argument came up and they argued at the table for several minutes and then they’d both agreed they’re just gonna have to disagree. And the one, the other partner says to the first partner that’s got the practice now says, wow, that meditation stuff is really working. She said, well, what are you talking about? We couldn’t agree. And he said, yeah, but a month ago you would have stormed out of this restaurant.Andy Walker: Oh, wow. Yeah.Andrew Bray: And so we become more patient, we become more kind, we become more Connected.Andy Walker: And.Andrew Bray: That’S also about intention. What do we want to do with more connection? What do we want to do with. With more wisdom, right. If we’re on a mission, like an entrepreneur typically is,we get to connect with potential clients more. We get to understand where they’re coming from more. We get to make ourselves understood more.We get to be more discerning with who we want to spend our time talking to.It all just, everything just becomes more efficient, more present. And you may even find like, yep, that whole mission I’ve been spending all this time on, that doesn’t resonate anymore. Now what I really got to do is this. And you may upgrade your mission. You may upgrade your whole business with more connection.Andy Walker: One of the things that I’ve noticed about my practice has been that I have a very low tolerance for things I don’t want to do anymore.Right. I, I just, I just go, why?Andrew Bray: Absolutely.Andy Walker: Why am I doing that? I don’t like it.You know, like even I do a fair amount of freelance work in the marketing and writing world, and if I’ve got a client that I really don’t resonate with, I just, I become less tolerant of doing it anyway, you know. But as a consequence, then I’m shifting all of my activities to things that I like. And then as a consequence, they all accelerate, which is kind of fascinating. So we are byproduct, really, does that relate?Andrew Bray: Totally. Because what you’re doing is using your intuition. So if you’ve got 10 potential clients, instead of spending an hour with each one, you’re just going to know after a minute going, bing, this is the one. This is, this is top of the list. This is where I want to spend the most time and energy.Because I just know I’m feeling it here. I’m feeling, I’m feeling it here. And I just know.Andy Walker: So would you say that this, that you would then also attract the right kind of people into your business and into your life?Andrew Bray: Yes, for sure.So talking about energy, talking about consciousness,we are all one, we are all connected. And attracting is sending out a signal. We are on an etheric level, sending out a signal all the time. And when we’re high vibrational, when we’re in that state of openness,we are sending out a much stronger signal.Andy Walker: Yeah, no, I think we’re all antennas, for sure. But I, I also see that, you know, if you spend too much time in that low vibrational thing, you attract all kinds of negative things too.So like I’ve run into all kinds of things in the last year or so where I’m like, why is that happening? That’s bad, bad, bad. And then I recognized only recently that I look back and go, I just been operating at a low vibration. So it is either I’m not attracting the right things or I’m attracting negative. Can you attract negative things too?Andrew Bray: Definitely. So we attract what we are.So going to that internal state and whatever vibration you’re at, you attract.Wherever you’re at, whatever you are is what you get more of.And something to note with a high vibrational state is that high vibrational energy is more efficient. And my favorite example here is a speaker. If you look at a big speaker, you got that tweeter with that high vibrational sound. It’s just this tiny speaker. And if you look at the wire connected to a tweeter, it is so fine, it requires so little energy to drive those high vibrational sounds. And if you look at the woofer, the big speaker at the bottom, it’s got a huge magnet on it and, and it requires a higher gauge wire to, to drive all that energy.Low vibration requires more energy, but there are many people that are very dedicated to it. So we get addicted to the state we’re in.So we kind of want to open up our,our drive, our free will, our kind of, our compass, our internal compass to go, where do I really want to be at?And going to that more efficient high vibrational space.Andy Walker: Yeah, yeah, I totally get that. But it requires intention, right? It’s not something that’s going to come now. Well, I suppose for some people it comes naturally. I was talking to Naveen Jain. He’s a billionaire operator out of Seattle. My wife’s been working with him on a couple of books. She’s been a ghostwriter. And he says he was described by one practitioner as somebody who has a happy brain.Right. He’s constantly in a positive state. And I would imagine if you’re going to turn out amazing things like he is, he’s got a company called Viome. Right. It’s like trying to cure, you know, chronic disease. You kind of have to be happy a lot of the time, because you’re up against it, you know,Definitely.Andrew Bray: But you get to a place where your vibration is so high, you just love existence itself. You’re kind of, you’re, you’re, you’re existing on a plane of appreciation. You are seeing beauty in just about all things. You are seeing beauty in just about all people. And a phrase I really like is that there are those who float through life effortlessly and that’s just existing on a high vibrational plane. You have a belief system that works for you.You know, there are just some people that think everything always works out for me,and lo and behold, it does, because they have that absolute belief that everything always works out for me. So they were, they are emanating an energy of confidence and grace, and lo and behold, the road just unfolds gracefully in front of them because of that belief.Andy Walker: Well, that explains a lot. That really does. You know, you run into people like that and people, you know, why is that person the constant? Like, we have one thing after another, and you’re like, this person has strings of good luck. They seem to attract the right people. They’re really cool to hang around, but that’s, that’s. They’re just operating at a high vibrational rate all the time and something we want to emulate.Andrew Bray: Right.Andy Walker: As a practice. Right. For sure.Andrew Bray: Yeah. I think, I don’t know if I’ve ever thought of this before, but my most powerful practice might be my habit of saying to myself,I love my life.I love my life.Andy Walker: Wow.Andrew Bray: And even though, you know, by, by many, let’s be honest, by most people’s standards,I have a very simple, modest life. But I have this beautiful studio that I love, love being here, love working here.I live upstairs and people are like, wow. You just come down the stairs and see your clients and then go back upstairs and have lunch. And I’m like, I love my life. And I’ll take every little excuse I get to say,I love my life. And you know what? I mean it.I do love my life.Do I take grandiose, spectacular vacations? No.But, you know, as you and I have talked quite a bit, I just have a love for Havana and I love going there and I love the people and the culture and the music, and it’s just a fantastic place to be.It’s got its challenges, for sure, but I love it and I love my life. And the more we program ourselves, we slip in those lines of software, the slip in the new lines of code,it just changes everything.Andy Walker: Amazing. Amazing. No,for sure, for sure.Andrew Bray: And this is one of those instances where you can fake it till you make it in that your subconscious mind that you’re working with when you’re programming it is not very smart and takes everything literally. That’s really being anchored in there.Andy Walker: That really is. Ow, ow, ow. I love my life. Ow.Andrew Bray: Right. On some level that’s good. That’s, that’s going in and you’re believing it.Andy Walker: You could, you could really do the opposite, right? And really ruin your day.Andrew Bray: Right? What am I thinking about?I will get snagged on that 1 in 20.And that makes absolutely no sense. If you are getting 19 out of 20 positive feedback reviews, you are on the right track. You were doing the right thing. But we get caught up in that 1 in 20 that gives us the negative feedback. And we have to be aware that we have a negative bias and we want to get over it.So it’s just an important thing to be aware of when we’re keeping our vibration high, when we are on a practice, want a path to be on a practice. We just have to have as much awareness as we can and we Have a negative bias. We want to kind of disassemble that.Andy Walker: So then all there is to do then is to one, stay positive. Two,take a moment every day, a couple of minutes, five minutes, 10 minutes if you can, longer if you can meditate that long and then almost do an audit on yourself to check in and make sure that you are operating from a positive space as opposed to operating from fear or guilt or negativity in some manner.Andrew Bray: Yeah, absolutely. That third step you just listed, the audit. And I just like to say awareness. We,the key to almost all of this stuff is awareness. And when we have the awareness, we choose. Well, we choose consciously. We’re using all the information we have access to.Awareness is key to empowerment and everything.Andy Walker: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Well, I think as soon as you tune into where am I at?It’s hard to stay in a bad place. It’s almost like you’re stepping out of. If you’re angry,it’s easy to be angry, but if you notice that you’re angry, suddenly you get less angry. It’s sort of an interesting, you know, small thing, but it, but it really works, doesn’t it?Andrew Bray: Absolutely.Andy Walker: Yeah. Very good.Andrew Bray: All right. Because you’ve taken the switch off autopilot.Andy Walker: Okay, so let’s jump into. I know we talked about doing a little exercise here. Do you, Are you up for doing a little exercise to share with the listeners to kind of give them something that they can use every day?Mo.So what are we going to do?Sure.Andrew Bray: We are going to do an awareness building exercise. And this can be your two minute meditation. This can be something that you do at any point when you feel that you need more, that you want to open up a little bit more.So we are just going to switch gears from thinking because most of the time we’re trapped in the monkey mind and we identify with the monkey mind. But we want to remember that that is just a calculator. And we have a calculator. We need a calculator for modern life, for making decisions. And we just want to remember that we are not a calculator, we just have one. And not to identify with it.So I would invite you to close your eyes and breathe.Andrew Bray: Just soft healing.Andrew Bray: Breath and begin to feel and just.Andrew Bray: Noticing that as we breathe there are sensations. We can feel our breath.Andrew Bray: In our body.Andrew Bray: Just tuning into fingertip into palm, rib cage, maybe heart breathing and feeling, tuning into the soles of your feet, even your toes, just breathing and allowing awareness to expand. And there are light, subtle sensations as we breathe a Little bit slower,a little bit deeper. And just paying more and more attention to the sensation. We begin to feel more and more and just becoming more aware of the space around you.Andrew Bray: The temperature.Andrew Bray: The surface beneath. And we breathe, just becoming more aware, noticing. And as we breathe, imagine yourself becoming lighter and letting go of old energy as we breathe, tuning into the sensations,to the awareness and feeling yourself become lighter, breathing and becoming lighter.Lighter and lighter. We breathe and we prepare to return.Breathing, shifting. And when you’re ready, open your eyes.Andy Walker: Very good. That was. That was really, really powerful. It’s. I always forget how effective that is.Andrew Bray: And we get better and better at it. It’s just. We get better at shifting gears. It’s just taking that moment, changing our breath, consciously breathing and allowing awareness to expand and boom. It’s just an instant different way of being.Andy Walker: What I find is interesting about an exercise like that, and especially when you lead it, by the way, Mike. And in fact, I. I’ve been using some of the meditations you’ve recorded and put on energyawaken.com lately, and there’s something intangible.Yeah, yeah. So anybody. Anybody want. There’s what, five or six of them on there on SoundCloud, right? You can just literally go on the 10, 15 minutes and different intentions and stuff.Really, really very powerful. I’d highly recommend. And we’ll put that in the show notes, so find it easily. But just speaking to that when I’m with you, and I think this is true, when you’re with any accomplished practitioner like yourself, there’s something about. And I think you’ve alluded to this before, you create this vortex, this energetic vortex through your intention, I’m guessing, right?Andrew Bray: I think we all do.And as our alignment improves,we become more and more powerful vortexes. But it’s just, it’s. It’s something that everybody does. And it’s back to that tuning fork thing you said, right? In that when there’s somebody that resonates with you, you. You have an opportunity to resonate together. And when that happens in groups, it just becomes really powerful.Just even the two of us, Andy, in that we, we know each other to a certain extent.There’s. There’s a certain amount of trust, there’s a certain amount of.Okay, I’m in.And, and with that, two people can vibrate pretty powerfully.Because let me tell you, there’s. There’s one thing, like I have my personal meditation practice, but everything is just so amplified when you’re working with somebody else and you’re Just, and you’re in it together. It’s just that the, the two or more are gathered, it just becomes more and more powerful. And even, even with technology, it works the same way because I do remote sessions and leading meditation remotely. It doesn’t matter if they’re three feet away from you or 3,000 miles away from you. It’s this whole plane is just an illusion anyway. So when two souls connect, it doesn’t matter how it happens.Andy Walker: That’s very good. That’s awesome.Well, I want to talk to you about creating vortexes on demand, but we’re going to save that for our next segment, which is for our Woo Biz plus members. So we’re going to sign off here and we’ll jump into that next. But I want, before we do that, I want you to tell everybody how do, how do people reach you or how would you like to be reached and what kind of services.Like, could you do this for a, in a corporate setting? Could you do this for a group of people, for a CEO or something like that?Andrew Bray: For sure, definitely. One of my specialties is intuitive development. And that can be done in person or over zoom. And I’m very easy to find because everything is energy awaken. Energy awaken.com and energy awaken. On socials.Andy Walker: On socials too. Yeah. Woo Biz: Developing Intuition as a Business Superpower

Host: Andy Walker

Guest: Andrew Bray, Intuitive Coach & Energy Practitioner

Intro

Welcome to Woo Biz — the show where we explore how entrepreneurs can use intuitive practices to achieve success and harmony. Today’s guest is Andrew Bray, founder of Energy Awaken, a hands-on method to help release limiting beliefs and reconnect with intuition.

What is Intuition?

Andrew: I think we’re all born with intuition — it’s not about learning it, but allowing it. As children, we often see or sense more but are conditioned to shut it down.

Andy: So we can train it again?

Andrew: Absolutely. With intention, meditation, and awareness, we can expand our access to intuitive information. It’s about shifting into a high-vibrational state — joy, clarity, openness — and tuning in.

Intuition in Business

Andy: For entrepreneurs, how does this translate into action?

Andrew: Intuition adds more data — it expands your scope. You’re not just thinking strategically, you’re feeling direction, reading energy. You attract clients and decisions that align better.

Training Your Intuition

Andrew: Start with 2 minutes a day. Make it a ritual. Sit in a quiet, sacred space with something meaningful nearby. Close your eyes. Breathe. Feel. Awareness grows in that silence.

Andy: I’ve found that even short daily meditation helps. Though it’s hard to silence the mind, I’ve learned to ignore the chatter.

Andrew: Exactly. That monkey mind never shuts up — but we stop giving it attention. The brain is programmable. You can rewire it with consistent practice.

High vs. Low Vibration

Andy: What’s the difference between high and low vibrational states?

Andrew: High vibration feels expansive — joy, love, trust. Low vibration is rooted in fear, shame, anger. When you’re low, your intuition is blocked. When you’re high, you’re more connected and magnetic.

Andy: I’ve noticed I attract negative outcomes when I’m in a low space.

Andrew: We attract what we are. Your energetic state sends out a signal constantly. When you shift, everything around you starts to shift too.

Simple Practices to Stay Aligned

Andrew: My go-to affirmation: “I love my life.” I say it often — out loud, sincerely. Even sarcastically, it still rewires the subconscious.

Andy: That’s huge. I’ve seen a big difference when I stop tolerating things that don’t align. It’s like a reset.

Guided Meditation

Andrew: Let’s close with a short awareness-building exercise. Sit, close your eyes, and breathe. Tune into your body — your fingertips, your chest, your feet. Feel the sensations, let go of the noise. Imagine becoming lighter with each breath. Awareness expands. You come into presence.

Andy: That was powerful. I always forget how effective that simple presence is.

Woo Biz Episode: Intuition as a Business Superpower

Host: Andy Walker
Guest: Andrew Bray, Intuitive Coach and Founder of Energy Awaken

Opening

Andy Walker: Learn how to jump start powerful intuition that can feel like a business superpower. With our guest, intuitive coach and energy practitioner Andrew Bray.

This is Woo Biz.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to another edition of Woo Biz.

I’m your host, Andy Walker and this is the show where we help entrepreneurs, business leaders, and innovators explore and train what I call their extrasensory abilities to drive wealth, success, and harmony in their enterprises, in their projects, and in their everyday lives.

We go beyond productivity hacks and strategy talk. Here we dig into the intuitive, the energetic, the unseen drivers of real world results.

Because when you learn to align with your deeper knowing, your work and your life start to change in powerful ways.

Introducing Andrew Bray

My guest today is Andrew Bray, an intuitive coach and energy practitioner based in Hamilton, Ontario, just west of Toronto, Canada.

He’s the founder of Energy Awaken, a hands-on energetic method that helps people release limiting beliefs, reconnect with their intuitive senses, and activate more clarity and capacity in their lives and businesses.

And he’s recently become my metaphysical coach. We met a few weeks back, and he’s one of my new friends in this awesome Woo community.

Andrew’s got a background in teaching workshops across North America. He offers custom meditations. I’ve been using them on his website. We’ll talk about that later.

He works with clients globally over Zoom. And when I trained with him, I walked out of his space feeling like a tuning fork.

The energy he brings is no joke. You’ll hear it in this conversation. Let’s get into it.

Starting the Conversation

Andy: Hello, Andrew, how you doing?

Andrew: Well, hi Andy. Great to be here.

Andy: It’s nice to see your face. You recently came back from Cuba, so you have a nice tan. We’re not using video for this episode, but if we were, you’d see it. You look relaxed, and I’m excited we’re finally recording. Thanks for your patience.

Discovering Intuition

Andy: So Andrew, you’ve had this ability to connect with the energetic world since you were very little, right? Tell me how you came to that.

Andrew: I think I was born with something — whatever that is. I think technically we’re all born with it. It’s just about how well we tune in. As a kid, I saw spirit a little bit. But then I was quickly convinced it wasn’t real. So you start thinking like everyone else. Until something wakes you up again.

Is Intuition Trainable?

Andy: Is this something that can be trained?

Andrew: Of course. With strong intention, when we allow our awareness to expand and get out of the way, life becomes entirely different.

Andy: What can entrepreneurs train themselves to use? What’s the advantage of developing these energetic skills?

Andrew: More intuition gives you more information. Someone once told me that before my workshop, life was in black and white — afterward, it was in color. Intuition gives you more data, more clarity for decision-making, direction, and alignment. Especially when it’s higher intuition — what I call “third-eye” stuff.

Intuitive Downloads

Andy: That resonates. I’ve experienced creative downloads, and it’s sometimes hard to define where the information is coming from.

Andrew: The universe is always talking to us. It often starts with dreams because we’re out of the way. Then, with practice, we begin to receive information in waking life. Meditation helps quiet the monkey mind so we can tune in — even on demand.

Understanding High Vibrational States

Andy: So, what does a high vibrational state mean?

Andrew: It’s an emotional state — feeling open, connected, on purpose. It’s not a performance; it’s cellular. When you’re in that state, you’re aligned with your multidimensional self. Low states — fear, shame — block access. High states bring clarity, truth, and flow.

Andy: So, fear-based intuition isn’t reliable?

Andrew: Exactly. Fear lies. If your “intuition” feels bad, it’s not aligned. Real messages feel good, even if they challenge you.

Getting Started

Andy: What advice would you give to someone new to this?

Andrew: Start today. Begin with two minutes of quiet presence. Make it special — a sacred space. Sit, breathe, feel. It’s a practice. You’re allowing your inner light to shine.

Andy: Even short practices have helped me. At first, your brain races. But it gets easier.

Andrew: Exactly. The monkey mind never stops. Just let it yammer in the backseat while you drive. Don’t engage it. Focus on your breath instead.

Programming the Mind

Andrew: We’re highly programmable. You can insert new beliefs like “I enjoy this,” and your mind will start to follow.

Andy: It’s like reconditioning or rewiring the brain, right?

Andrew: For sure. Practice makes it easier. You begin to recognize how you work, and it builds.

What to Expect After a Few Weeks

Andy: How long before I see results?

Andrew: If you’re consistent, you’ll notice changes within a few weeks. Like improved patience or better reactions. One meditation student stopped storming out of arguments — that’s growth.

Business Benefits

Andrew: Entrepreneurs with intuition connect better with clients, make faster decisions, and align their mission with who they really are. You might even upgrade your entire direction.

Andy: I’ve noticed I can’t tolerate things that don’t align anymore. My work accelerates when it feels good.

Attraction & Energy

Andrew: That’s intuition. You’re prioritizing the right clients instinctively. And yes, we all send out a signal. High vibration means stronger attraction. The more aligned you are, the more your life aligns.

Andy: I’ve noticed when I’m low, bad things pile up. Is that related?

Andrew: Yes. We attract what we are. Low vibration takes more energy — but many people are addicted to it. High vibration is more efficient. The speaker analogy: tweeters (high) need less power than woofers (low).

Living at a High Vibration

Andy: It must take intention to stay there though.

Andrew: It does. But eventually you just love existing. You live in appreciation. Some people believe “everything always works out for me” — and it does. That belief shapes reality.

Simple Practice: “I Love My Life”

Andrew: My most powerful practice? Repeating, “I love my life.” I live modestly, but I mean it. Even sarcastically, your subconscious believes it. Try saying it after stubbing your toe — it still gets in.

Overcoming Negative Bias

Andrew: Culturally, we’re taught negative self-talk. It’s important to recognize we have a negativity bias — we remember the one bad review out of twenty. Being aware of that lets us transcend it.

Three-Step Path

Andy: So the path is: stay positive, meditate, and audit your mindset regularly.

Andrew: Exactly. Awareness is key. It leads to conscious choice and empowered living.

Guided Awareness Exercise

Andrew: Let’s do a two-minute awareness meditation. Sit quietly, close your eyes, breathe slowly. Feel your body — your fingertips, chest, feet. Tune into subtle sensations. Let go of old energy. Breathe and feel yourself become lighter. Return gently, open your eyes when ready.

Andy: That was powerful. I always forget how effective that is.

Vibrational Resonance

Andy: I notice that when I meditate with someone like you, it’s amplified.

Andrew: That’s resonance. When two people trust and align, the energy multiplies. It works in person or over Zoom. There is no real distance.

Andy: Where can people connect with you?

Would you like me to continue formatting the rest in the same way as Part 2? It’s a long transcript and I’ll break it up to avoid WordPress input limits. You said: yes ChatGPT said: Here is Part 2 of the cleaned-up transcript in HTML format for WordPress, continuing exactly where Part 1 left off. The formatting remains consistent, with each speaker’s text grouped into

blocks and no changes to wording.

Let me know when you’re ready for Part 3, and I’ll continue formatting from where we left off.You said: yes ChatGPT said: Here is Part 3 of the cleaned-up transcript in HTML format, continuing from where Part 2 left off. The formatting ensures each speaker’s words are clearly attributed and readable in a WordPress HTML block.

Let me know when you’re ready for Part 4, and I’ll continue formatting from where we left off.You said: go ChatGPT said: Here is Part 4 of the cleaned-up transcript in HTML format, continuing seamlessly from Part 3. The speaker tags are properly structured and the text is optimized for reading in WordPress’s HTML block.

Let me know when you’re ready for Part 5, which includes the awareness exercise and the wrap-up of the episode. You said: next ChatGPT said: Here is Part 5 of the cleaned-up transcript in HTML format, picking up right where Part 4 left off. This section includes the awareness exercise and the episode wrap-up.

Andy Walker: Okay, so let’s jump into. I know we talked about doing a little exercise here. Do you, are you up for doing a little exercise to share with the listeners to kind of give them something that they can use every day?

Andrew Bray: Sure.

Andy Walker: So what are we going to do?

Andrew Bray: We are going to do an awareness building exercise. And this can be your two minute meditation. This can be something that you do at any point when you feel that you need more, that you want to open up a little bit more. So we are just going to switch gears from thinking because most of the time we’re trapped in the monkey mind and we identify with the monkey mind. But we want to remember that that is just a calculator. And we have a calculator. We need a calculator for modern life, for making decisions. And we just want to remember that we are not a calculator, we just have one. And not to identify with it. So I would invite you to close your eyes and breathe.

Andrew Bray: Just soft healing breath and begin to feel and just noticing that as we breathe there are sensations. We can feel our breath in our body. Just tuning into fingertip into palm, rib cage, maybe heart breathing and feeling, tuning into the soles of your feet, even your toes, just breathing and allowing awareness to expand. And there are light, subtle sensations as we breathe a little bit slower, a little bit deeper. And just paying more and more attention to the sensation. We begin to feel more and more and just becoming more aware of the space around you. The temperature. The surface beneath. And we breathe, just becoming more aware, noticing. And as we breathe, imagine yourself becoming lighter and letting go of old energy as we breathe, tuning into the sensations, to the awareness and feeling yourself become lighter, breathing and becoming lighter. Lighter and lighter. We breathe and we prepare to return. Breathing, shifting. And when you’re ready, open your eyes.

Andy Walker: Very good. That was. That was really, really powerful. It’s. I always forget how effective that is.

Andrew Bray: And we get better and better at it. It’s just. We get better at shifting gears. It’s just taking that moment, changing our breath, consciously breathing and allowing awareness to expand and boom. It’s just an instant different way of being.

Andy Walker: What I find is interesting about an exercise like that, and especially when you lead it, by the way, Mike. And in fact, I. I’ve been using some of the meditations you’ve recorded and put on energyawaken.com lately, and there’s something intangible.

Andrew Bray: Yeah, yeah.

Andy Walker: So anybody. Anybody want. There’s what, five or six of them on there on SoundCloud, right? You can just literally go on the 10, 15 minutes and different intentions and stuff. Really, really very powerful. I’d highly recommend. And we’ll put that in the show notes, so find it easily. But just speaking to that when I’m with you, and I think this is true, when you’re with any accomplished practitioner like yourself, there’s something about. And I think you’ve alluded to this before, you create this vortex, this energetic vortex through your intention, I’m guessing, right?

Andrew Bray: I think we all do. And as our alignment improves, we become more and more powerful vortexes. But it’s just, it’s. It’s something that everybody does. And it’s back to that tuning fork thing you said, right? In that when there’s somebody that resonates with you, you have an opportunity to resonate together. And when that happens in groups, it just becomes really powerful. Just even the two of us, Andy, in that we, we know each other to a certain extent. There’s. There’s a certain amount of trust, there’s a certain amount of. Okay, I’m in. And, and with that, two people can vibrate pretty powerfully. Because let me tell you, there’s. So when two souls connect, it doesn’t matter how it happens.

Andy Walker: That’s very good. That’s awesome. Well, I want to talk to you about creating vortexes on demand, but we’re going to save that for our next segment, which is for our Woo Biz plus members. So we’re going to sign off here and we’ll jump into that next. But I want, before we do that, I want you to tell everybody how do, how do people reach you or how would you like to be reached and what kind of services. Like, could you do this for a, in a corporate setting? Could you do this for a group of people, for a CEO or something like that?

Andrew Bray: For sure, definitely. One of my specialties is intuitive development. And that can be done in person or over zoom. And I’m very easy to find because everything is energy awaken. Energyawaken.com and energy awaken. On socials.

Andy Walker: On socials too. Yeah. It’s the best way to get. Reach out. Okay, very good. So we’ll put a link to your site, to the meditations already there and how people can get hold of you and just to make it easy. And then, and then in a minute we’ll jump into some discussions about creating vortexes on demand. I’m kind of excited about that piece, but for the time being, thanks Andrew, for being with us, for sharing your wisdom and your vortex, creating a vortex with me for the listeners. And with any luck, people have felt the vortex through this audio because you’re right, there is no time or space. It seems to be you can connect with something like this and be part of it on demand. You just need, as you said, awareness and connecting, you know, and, and doing the practices you’ve suggested too. Right?

Andrew Bray: Awesome. Exactly. Yeah.

Andy Walker: All right, well, that’s it. That’s today’s episode. Thanks everybody for tuning in.
